Radio Coteau operates more like an artist's studio than a commercial tasting room. Eric Sussman, a quiet winemaker with relentless focus, sources from distinguished single vineyards across the Sonoma Coast to produce Pinot Noir and Syrah that reflect site specificity over house style. The space itself is understated—no frills, no crowds, just wine and conversation. Visits happen by appointment only, often during open house events where you might taste through nine wines while chatting directly with Sussman about his vineyards. He also experiments with skin-contact whites. This is a winery for people who care more about what's in the glass than what's on Instagram, and who appreciate that staying independent and small-scale is its own form of integrity.
