They're pouring Burgundian-minded Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from exceptional California sites—wines with tension and minerality rather than the usual fruit bomb routine. The Oxto Edit
Oxto AIMatt and Sara Licklider's LIOCO has been quietly making some of California's most restrained, site-expressive wines since 2005. The downtown Healdsburg tasting room ditches the Sonoma pomp—windows flung open, records playing, a street-side parklet where you can actually relax. They're serious about what's in the bottle (single-vineyard designates, old-vine Carignan, textured whites) but refreshingly casual about everything else.
