Oxto AIHawkes is a farmer-first winery — the family has been growing grapes in Alexander Valley since 1972 and didn't start bottling under their own name until 1999. Everything is estate-grown across 85 acres of hillside vineyards, and they keep it simple: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, 100% Merlot, 100% Chardonnay — no blending, no fluff. The tasting room sits right in the heart of Alexander Valley with vineyard views, and the vibe is exactly what you'd want from a family that's been doing this for 50 years. Unpretentious, genuine, and the wine backs it up.
