One of Carneros' original sparkling wine houses, Gloria Ferrer sits on 300 hillside acres with views that earned the family's investment from Spain. They ferment in bottle like Champagne, age on lees, and turn out wines with actual structure—not just bubbles and marketing. The terrace pours include library releases you won't find in retail, plus still Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from estate fruit. Their kitchen does Spanish tapas that pair better with sparkling than most winery food: jamón, pulpo that's not overcooked, patatas bravas with real bite. The vibe skews relaxed—groups post up for hours, staff pours generously, and nobody's checking if you know what dosage means. It's Sonoma sparkling without the Napa attitude.
