About
This is Michigan wine country done right: 13 varieties planted high above Lake Leelanau in 2009, farmed organically, vinified in small lots. The Alberts built their tasting room on the Narrows where boats tie up and families spread out on the waterfront deck. Winemaker Emily Neighbors clearly knows what she's doing—reviewers call out the Merlot and Cabernet Franc as serious bottles, not tourist juice. Live music on weekends, but the real draw is sipping dry reds with an actual lake view, not some pond they're calling a lake.
